VECO-Indonesia, the regional branch of international NGO Vredeseilanden committed to the promotion of Sustainable Agriculture within the context of agricultural value chain development, is now recruiting an Indonesian National for the position of:

‘MCA Cocoa project Monitoring, Results and Measurement (MRM) Officer’
Responsible for the coordination and implementation all the Monitoring and Result Measurement (MRM) system of the project based on guidelines following the MCA standards. Based in VECO Field Antenna Ende, Flores, NTT Province

Specific Responsibilities :
  • Responsible for operationalization of the Monitoring and Result Measurement (MRM) system of the project based on guidelines from MCA (donor) and Swiss Contact (Lead parter) for results measurement; 
  • Responsible for assuring the quality of the project monitoring system;
  • Support in implementation of monitoring the project result chain and respective indicators for measurement to enhance appropriate decision making and learning processes;
  • Use the MRM system to define the results and support the project team to make informed decisions using the results;
  • Support reporting of the results towards the donor;
  • Build the capacity of the project team, local partners and service providers in using monitoring and data collection tools provided by the donor and lead partner;
  • Support events, studies and research with lead partner and other consortium partners on MRM relevant issues;
  • Be sensitive to gender and social inclusion in all interventions;
  • Support to ensure proper learning processes and documentation of results;
Key Competencies and qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years “working knowledge” and experience in supervising results measurement activities, preferably in private sector/market development projects with relevant educational background (minimal bachelor degree). 
  • Preferably, experience with Rural Development Programmes specifically on Sustainable Agriculture, Chain Development for agricultural products. 
  • Highly proficient in use of excel for analysis and preferably experience with mobile data collection
  • Meticulous and detail oriented, able to work under own initiative and drive to complete tasks with little direct supervision 
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal skills in Indonesian and English
  • Innovative and willingness to learn 
  • Good interpersonal skills, and ability to work in teams
  • Ability to collaborate and coordinate between different teams to achieve objectives
  • Willingness to travel in different parts of Indonesia (mostly in NTT and South Sulawesi provinces)
