As part of the Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety, Bloomberg Philanthropies will support the salaries of 3 (three) “embedded” staff within the offices of the Government of Bandung City.

The purpose of these positions is to assist the Government of Bandung City in implementing the work plans of road safety and to provide a link between the city and the relevant International organizations providing technical assistance. Union North America (UNA) will work with each city government to recruit, hire, and assist the host government to oversee the work of these “embedded” staff.

Government of Bandung City supported by the Union North America (UNA) opens the opportunity for professionals to become Embedded Staff Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety in Bandung in 2015, with the following conditions:

Placed in the Local Development and Planning Board (Bappeda) Bandung City Government: for Road Safety Management (Management of traffic safety)
  1. Indonesian citizen and preferably domiciled in Bandung;
  2. Academic qualifications – at least Master’s level of Civil Engineering Transportation, at least 5 years experiences in project management with significant responsibility
  3. Government experience preferred
  4. Familiarity with urban transportation/infrastructure or law enforcement/road policing
  5. Familiarity with interpreting quantitative data analysis
  6. English language proficiency required
