Operating since 2013, the MAMPU program aims to improve the welfare of poor women in Indonesia. We work with government, gender-interested organisations and parliamentarians to influence government policies and improve access to services for poor women in Indonesia.

MAMPU is now in the period of “Voice and Influence” where it needs to voice louder about women’s issues and develop supportive public opinion to influence policies that benefit poor women in Indonesia.  Mass media play very important role to communicate and educate MAMPU stakeholders and wider public so that they can support our advocacy. In the near future, MAMPU will work closely with the mass media to help its partners to high light MAMPU works and achievements. The Media Relations Intern is part of MAMPU Communications and Knowledge Management team.

To help us achieve this, we are looking a high caliber individual to join us for three months as a Media Relations Intern. The intern will help to establish good network with leading media and journalists and maintain the good relations through various activities and initiatives.
