In the second year project implementation, there will be density scope of work from SDGs Governance project, as at this stage it will require more monitoring both to the implementation in the level of project activities and at the national level. Therefore it needs a dedicated data collection and monitoring software in order to ensure all data from field especially ones from primary sources stored properly and also can be used by main stakeholders. To execute this action, Oxfam identify to have one dedicated staff in order to develop, run, and maintain the data as well as to provide training to the stakeholders during the next phase of SDGs project implementation.

Digital Database Programmer (code: DDP - SDGs)

The job holder will develop and maintain the data collection and monitoring digital platform for SDGs implementation in the project scope of “ Strengthening Capacity of Civil Society to Enhance Governance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia”. S/he will work together with Project Manager and support two national CSOs and three third party organisations to ensure efficient and effective data collection database monitoring, deliver training on digital platform data pooling protocols as well as data analystics techniques for the partners and third party organisations. She/he will have direct report to SDGs Project Manager and make close coordination with MEL Officer, 2 partner organisations, 3 third party organisations and other stakeholders. This post will be based in Jakarta with fixed term contract and possibility to extend.


  • Develop and maintain digital platform for data pooling and analytics for SDGs monitoring
  • Provide basic guidelines on digital platform data pooling protocols
  • Training partners/CSO Working Groups to be able to apply the monitoring tools 
  • Develop and maintain web database and transform info into accurate & efficient report
  • Establish Cloud server and coordinate with the provider
  • Analyze standard project database into accurate, efficient and informative report
  • Coordinate with the project team and other stakeholders related to SDGs project goals & objectives
  • Flexibility to travel to conduct some information related to training on digital platform for all level of stakeholders


  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related disciplines. Exceptional relevant practical experience may be seen as a substitute
  • Experience working with I/NGO. Substantial and proven experience in similar project will advantage
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in web and android programming with related social development issues
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining Cloud server
  • Proven experience in developing HTML5 and CMS 
  • Good understanding and experience on web script such as: PHP, Asp, ColdFusion, Phyton
  • Highly ability to manage database: mySQL or other system with project cycle will be advantage
  • Demonstrated experience in using API to link with several application with familiarity of Digital Data Collection (ODK)
  • Ability to provide training on the digital database platform to main stakeholders
  • Fast-learner of the project context i.e. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • Ability to manage complex workloads and deliver outputs to agreed deadlines
  • Proven experience of communicating with various levels audiences with highly ability of system and digital literacy 
  • Ability to transform system and database information into accurate and efficient report
  • Fluent in verbal and written English and demonstrated experience communicating in these languages with a variety of audiences
