Proposals on selected health-related topics may be appropriate for submission under the new focus area Multiple Countries/Family Planning and Reproductive Health. Several countries are the focus of specially targeted calls this cycle, including Cambodia, Indonesia, Haiti, Laos, Peru, Tunisia, and Zambia. There is also a regional call focused on projects in the Middle East and North Africa relevant to health issues in refugee host communities. The deadline for submitting a pre-proposal is Friday, January 12, 2018Interested applicants are invited to review the full request for applications and click the blue Apply Now button below to register to use our online system for preparing and submitting their pre-proposals. Special opportunity for current and former PEER grant recipients

PEER is currently inviting researchers with an active PEER award or who have had a PEER award in the past to apply for small supplemental grants. There are two types of supplements available, each with its own purpose and eligibility requirements. Evidence to Action Supplements are available for researcher-led activities designed to translate PEER research into action, and PEER PIs and co-PIs whose projects began before January 1, 2017, are eligible to apply. U.S. Government (USG)-Supported Partner Cooperation Supplements are also available to help support the costs of bringing partners and members of their research teams to a current PEER awardee’s location. For this type of supplement, applicants must be current PEER PIs or co-PIs whose PEER awards will be active through at least December 1, 2018. The application deadline for both types of supplements is November 17, 2017. More information, including the application form and instructions, can be found on the For Grant Recipients page of this website.
