Position Title: Training Assistant (INDONESIAN NATIONAL ONLY)
Reporting to: Training Officer
Job Status: Full time, 9 – 5
Contract duration: 1 year (extendable)
Duty Station: Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Working Conditions
  1. The Project Assistant will be entitled to annual leave, sick leave, social security and health insurance (BPJS Kesehatan and Ketenagakerjaan) as according to RedR policy.
Assignment Summary
  1. The Training Assistant is responsible for assisting Training Officer and ensuring the objectives and outputs of the project are met. S/he should work closely with other training teams to achieve all deliverables set in the Project Document and contract document. The duty station is Yogyakarta.
Main Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Training Officer, the Training Assistant are responsible for the following duties:
  1. Assists Training Officer in project implementation and management, including preparing and organizing capacity development workshops, training, preparing contracts for resources persons;
  2. Keeps records of the budget and project documents and oversees procurement
  3. Makes necessary arrangements and facilitate the meetings with the RedR Indonesia, UNICEF and key stakeholders, including draft briefing notes, background documents and presentations for meetings; Take notes during meetings and training, and prepare minutes and follow up on required actions;
  4. Collects relevant materials (training modules, research papers) and evidences (e.g. photos, videos, reports, documents, all related materials) of workshops, and compile practices and lessons learnt on project activities;
  5. Performs other relevant duties as required by immediate supervisor
Requirements
Education
  1. Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or relevant field (relevant experience may substitute relevant degree)
Skills & Competencies
  1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position
  2. Experience in program administration, operating procedures, oversight and monitoring
  3. Knowledge of project funding procedures and guidelines
  4. Excellent written and verbal English
  5. Excellent organisational and coordination skills
  6. Ability to perform complex tasks and act upon priorities
  7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  8. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a multicultural environment
  9. Confirmed communication and organisational skills
  10. Multi-tasking skills
