PLAN International Job Vacancy: Kiat Muda Project Coordinator, Jakarta

Plan International Indonesia is presently implementing its country strategic 4 (CS 4) covering fiscal year 2017 to 2022, where the country objective has been defined as “to identify and facilitate the removal of obstacles that prevent children from enjoying their rights and participating fully in Indonesian society”. The organisation’s purpose is to “strive for a just world that advances children’s rights and equality for girls”. This goal will be achieved by providing technical support and implementing quality programs and projects through partnership. An effective and efficient communications strategy is a must for Plan Indonesia to share the outcomes of these projects to influence different actors, specially state authorities and to position Plan’s profile within and outside at different levels – starting from community, sub district, district to national, regional and international levels.

Yayasan Plan International Indonesia is looking for  dynamic staff  to be based in Jakarta for the position:


Dimensions of Role:
Financial measures or statistics relevant to post such as budget; list of direct and indirect reports The position holder will coordinate within the range of 25 - 30 persons from the internal organization staff as well as external parties. The total annual budget that S/he supervises for implementation under project ranges from USD 100,000 200,000. She/He also represents Yayasan Plan International Indonesia in the concerned network related to implementation of the projects.

Typical Responsibilities - Key End Results of Position: Responsible to Leads the process of developing/ develop implementation plan of all projects with detail activities, operational processes and budget for field level implementation. Ensures development of M&E framework of all projects to support comprehensive and quality monitoring of the project performance at community, partner and country level following corporate guide line of Plan and donor agencies. Supports project partners overcoming operational constrains to ensure smooth implementation and to achieve agreed burn rate of the project budget. Establishes quality donor reporting system for projects by providing guidance, setting protocols and building capacity of the relevant project staff.Establishes organizational learning from project experience/ evaluation, contribute to the other projects and programs and to the development of project concept paper and assisting in identifying potential funding source to support achieving organizational target for income. Establish and maintain Plan’s partnership with project key stakeholders; government authorities, private sectors entity and strategic associations by conducting advocacy necessary to support the achievements of the project objectives; and also establishing and maintaining networks at national and regional level to support incorporating global standard and learning into the projects . Ensuring active, reliable and good communication practices. Applied internal effective communication strategy between internal project staff and LEARN Program team, partners organization, Plan Regional Office and related NOs

Knowledge, Skills, Behaviors, and Experience Required to Achieve Role’s Objectives: Education and experience: Degree in Social Sciences or other relevant field with 5-7 years’ experience in any development works with demonstrated in project managerial skill and people management. Has at least 3 years’ experience in the youth employment issues .Behaviors (Plan International’s Values in Practice)
