The Role
Manage the improvement of the effectiveness, speed and impact of project implementation through strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and development actors. Specifically, manage the partnerships and project implementation with the existing local civil society organizations, research institution, universities, national and local government agencies as the main implementing agents of this project in Indonesia.

What we are looking for Project Manager - Indonesia Climate and Disaster Resilient Communities (ICDRC)

  1. Minimum of five years’ experience with international agencies in implementing and managing humanitarian responses, including experience of building local capacity to assess, design and manage programme.
  2. Knowledge and proven experience in managing the project cycle, including project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
  3. Experience in working in multi-sectoral program and ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure and to deadlines.
  4. Sound knowledge on gender mainstreaming in projects and guide project staff herein. Having
  5. Knowledge and experience of promoting gender equity, and an active commitment to promoting the interests of marginalized people in all aspects of Oxfam’s work.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact culturally, linguistically, and diplomatically with diverse internal and external individuals.
  7. Initiative, self-motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented, dependability, strong attention to detail, and have leadership behaviour to lead his/her team.
  1. Master degree in a relevant discipline (preferably economics, politics, sociology, humanities) or substantial experience.
  2. Proven analytical skills and ability to think strategically for project design and to implement the approach.
  3. Ability to work with others to develop vision into strategy and communicating and influencing this to a wider audience.
