Consultant for Running Community Engagement and Buzzer

FRMC Save the Children Indonesia is proud of its achievement of engaging more than 40.000 individual donors. We have supported organization's tremendous works reaching many thousands of children and families who have benefited through monthly donation.

Despite the achievement, we realize that we need to invest more into community engagement and expanding market through some communities. Hence, this year Marketing Communications - FRMC is launching a marketing online-offline event, Race for Surivival - Virtual Run. We collaborate with Communications department and Campaign Advocacy to promote our Pneumonia campaign with running.

We expected 1.000 runners across Indonesia would join our event. But we need support from professional running community engagement specialist to promote our event to running communities and buzzer.

The objective of consultancy
To engage with running communities and buzzer to join Race for Survival - Virtual Run

  1. Running communities to post our poster on social media and promote
  2. Running communities and buzzer report
Scope of Work:
The selected consultant agrees to do works as follow:
  1. Discuss with YSTC team to develop consultancy detail plan.
  2. Develop content of of promotion and list of running and buzzer to promote virtual run
  3. Offline promotion to communities
Proposed Timeline and working days (accumulative):
Accumulative 30 working days, from October - November 2019

Expected consultant:
  1. Has experience in running event
  2. Has in community engagement
  3. Communicative, motivated, dedicated and eager to learn something new.

The Organization
Save the Children in Indonesia is changing for the better. We've begun to build a national organization that aims to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia. To this end, SC Indonesia has been designated as a "Prospect Member". As 'Prospect Member' Indonesia has been identified as part of the next way of new member development, which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in strategic middle-income countries. Indonesia has been authorized by member ballot to start fundraising locally as a first step towards building a financially sustainable local organization. Future work will also involve developing a strong local governance structure and building key partnerships with local government, the private sector, local civil society among others. Success of the pilot phase will set the Indonesia on a pathway to full membership
