Description of task
Under the direct supervision of PLJ’s Communication Manager the national UN

Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:
  1. Support the development and implementation of internal and external communications and advocacy strategies, as well as business development
  2. Support the elaboration/implementation of the communications strategy and plan
  3. Assist in developing a social media engagement strategy to promote PLJ’s work
  4. Design visually appealing and informative presentation slides
  5. Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing
  6. Monitor PLJ’s public relations communication channels
  7. Maintain knowledge/information management databases
  8. Support the monitoring of trends and latest developments relevant to data innovation and PLJ’s research activities
  9. Other tasks as needed to support the communications portfolio

Required degree level: Bachelor degree or equivalent

Education - Additional Comments:

Communications, Media, Marketing, Journalism, Social Sciences and/or related field

Required experience: 24 Months

Experience remark:
  1. Relevant experience in communications, social media management, outreach and awareness raising, media enagement
  2. Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
  3. Proven ability to work and manage time independently and professionally
  4. Good interpersonal and team building skills
Language skills:
  1. English(Mandatory), Level - Fluent
  2. Indonesian(Mandatory), Level - Fluent
Area of expertise: Marketing and advertising, Arts, music, photography and film, Other communications related experience

Area of expertise details:
  1. Clear, persuasive writing skills both for classic media (project briefs and press releases) as well as writing for web and blogs
Driving license: No
