WAHANA VISI INDONESIA JOB VACANCIES 2020

Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) is a Christian humanitarian social organization that works to bring a sustainable change to the welfare of children, families, and communities living in poverty. WVI dedicated itself to cooperate with the most vulnerable communities regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, and gender.

For more than 20 years, Wahana Visi Indonesia has been implementing community development programs focusing on children. WVI has emphasized long-termed development programs by using an approach of sustainable area program or Area Program for 10-15 years through the operational offices in WVI’s assisted area.

Wahana Visi Indonesia is currently seeking four following positions in Bintaro and Sentani.

Project Manager – WASH

MAJOR ROLES

Is responsible to provide overall leadership and management of WASH Business Plan (BP) in order to achieve WV Indonesia WASH target and advocacy goals in certain districts within WVI ministries across Indonesia. WASH BP is a program implemented in Indonesia that focuses on supporting the implementation of the WASH strategic plan of Wahana Visi Indonesia in several areas.

  • Ministry Quality and Impact of Health.

LOCATION

  • Bintaro.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferable Masters’ degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Social Sciences, Water Resource Management, or other related field or equivalent experience.
  • Preferable with certified as a Project Manager in integrated water resources management, behavior change, or market-based solutions.
  • Min. 3 years of experience as a Project Manager for WASH programs across various contexts.
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills through workshops & trainings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal development, report writing, formal communication, funding acquisitions, and grant management for major government donors preferred.
  • Experience in leading, designing, planning, implementing, M&E, and reporting on integrated development, sanitation, and hygiene projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and writing in English (500 of TOEFL score).

Engineer – WASH

MAJOR ROLES

Provides technical leadership to WASH officers/facilitators, TP coordinators, zone health specialists, and Area Managers in implementing the hardware aspects of WASH Technical Sector programming, including implementation of WASH facilities and services. The position is accountable for program implementation of WASH hardware that meets minimum technical and national standards, and for the delivery of key Technical Sector performance indicators.

LOCATION

  • Bintaro.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Water Resource Management, Civil Engineering, Water & Sanitation Engineering, or any related field.
  • Have 3 – 5 years of work experience in WASH, especially in working WASH hardware components.
  • Have knowledge of global and national WASH issues.
  • Ability to design WASH infrastructure including water supply systems, boreholes, rainwater catchment, institutional toilets, household sanitation, and other WASH-related projects.
  • Ability to prepare budgets, bills of quantity (BoQs), and cost estimates for WASH construction projects and services.
  • Experience in program or project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, report writing, and formal communication.
  • Ability to develop the proposal, funding acquisitions, and grant management for major government donors preferred Experience working for an international organization (e.g., INGO, UN, etc.).
  • Ability to conduct technical assessments/studies, manage construction teams and sub-contractors, and provide hands-on training to technicians.
  • Experience in supervising staff and/or evidence of leadership and capacity building skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, representational, and networking skills and cross-cultural sensitivity.
  • Have received training in integrated water resources management, market-based solutions, and other WASH hardware areas (documented experience alternately accepted).
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and writing in English (450 of TOEFL score).

Knowledge Management Officer – WASH

MAJOR ROLES

To help Area Program (AP) for implementing knowledge management mechanisms, standards, processes, and systems of WASH in order to maximize their contribution to WASH goals. Also, this role is to establish a strong learning culture where data is systematically will be transformed into information and elevate the knowledge & skills of its beneficiaries – an environment where innovations are documented and shared across the Wahana Visi Indonesia system and where credible evidence improves program practices.

LOCATION

  • Bintaro.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, Information System, or any related field.
  • Have 3 years of work experience in the Knowledge Management System.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation work and social research.
  • Strong organizational, strategic planning, and analytical skills.
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills; strong reporting and analysis skills.
  • Have a good understanding of the LEAP (Learning through Evaluation with Accountability and Planning), DME (Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation), and Child Well-being Framework.
  • Experience in organization and facilitation of training programs including virtual training.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to operate required apps, such as Ms. Office Suit including SharePoint and database & statistic software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and writing in English (500 of TOEFL score).

Sourcing Coordinator – Papua

MAJOR ROLES

  • The Sourcing Coordinator is responsible to manage the procurement process at the zonal level and ensure the procurement practice is in alignment with the organizational policy and standards.

DEPARTMENT/PROJECT/UNIT

  • Procurement.

LOCATION

  • Sentani, Papua.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in any major.
  • At least two years of experience in the logistics and procurement area.
  • Preferably understand the best practice for grant project management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and writing in English (450 of TOEFL score).
  • Able to operate common computer applications, such as Office apps.
