Wahana Visi Indonesia Job Vacancy: PROJECT COORDINATOR – ICOPE (Indonesia COVID-19 Pandemic Emergency) Project in East Sumba, Southwest Sumba, Ternate, North Halmahera, and Surabaya

Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) is a Christian humanitarian social organization that works to bring a sustainable change to the welfare of children, families, and communities living in poverty. WVI dedicated itself to cooperate with the most vulnerable communities regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, and gender.

For more than 20 years, Wahana Visi Indonesia has been implementing community development programs focusing on children. WVI has emphasized long-termed development programs by using an approach of sustainable area program or Area Program for 10-15 years through the operational offices in WVI’s assisted area.

Wahana Visi Indonesia is currently seeking the following positions in East Sumba, Southwest Sumba, Ternate, North Halmahera, and Surabaya.

Project Coordinator – ICOPE (Indonesia COVID-19 Pandemic Emergency) Project

MAJOR ROLES:

The objectives of the ICOPE Project Coordinator position are to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate, as well as develop the capacity of local partners, develop partnerships and facilitate the implementation of initiatives undertaken to realize the project objectives: limiting the spread of COVID19 and reducing its impact on vulnerable children and families. The intervention areas are 6 districts in NTT, North Maluku, Java. They are East Sumba, Southwest Sumba, Ternate, North Halmahera, Surabaya, and Jakarta. The project will work with and build the capacity of 6 CSOs from the districts mentioned above. The I-COPE project is funded by the European Union (CSO.LA funding theme).

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor Degree from any major
  • 2 years of experience in implementing grant projects on health and livelihood.
  • Well, understanding of health issues and livelihood programs.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
  • Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and writing in English (450 of TOEFL score).
