Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia (YRII) is an independent humanitarian and development organization. YRII, previously Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia as globally with Islamic Relief Worldwide we have been fighting poverty and injustice for 30 years, in a world where more than three billion people still live in poverty.

Country Purpose:

Islamic Relief Worldwide in Indonesia has been operating since 2003 and officially became Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia in January 2022. The objective of the Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia program is to contribute to the social welfare of the Indonesian people and to alleviate suffering. The main sectors for the program include:

  • Water and Sanitation
  • Sustainable livelihood

  • Child Welfare
  • Shelter
  • Disaster Risk Reduction
  • Climate Change

The geographical area: NTB, Aceh, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, and Jakarta Province will be expanded to all regions of Indonesia according to the development of the organization. The implementation of the program is carried out directly by YRII or through cooperation partners.

Yayasan Relief Islami Indonesia is seeking a Logistics Assistant based in Bima – Nusa Tenggara Barat.

Reporting Line:

The post holder would directly report to the Logistics Officer.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handling the YRII (Aceh) procurement process
  • Ensuring all procurement processes are in line with YRII procurement policy and manual
  • In coordination with the purchase requestor monitoring the procurement contract with suppliers, and contractors
  • Ensuring the quality of the goods, works, or services provided by the suppliers, vendors, or contractors are met with the contract requirement
  • Provide regular procurement tracking report
  • Managing stock and distribution of project equipment
  • Managing goods and equipment delivery to and from other YRII office
  • Ensuring that stock records are properly maintained.
  • Ensuring the Goods/Service Received Notes, Goods/Service Delivery Notes and Stock card are well maintained and filled for every stock movement.
  • In coordination with program staff ensuring goods/services hand-over notes are well maintained and filled
  • Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports, and price lists.
  • Helping the Logistics Officer to compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
  • Track the status of requisitions, contracts, orders, and payments.
  • Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts.
  • Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and those goods meet specifications.
  • Compare suppliers’ bills with bids and purchase orders to verify accuracy and prepare supporting documents for payment.
  • Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogues and the internet, and interview them to gather information about products to be ordered.
  • Provide regular stock reports.
  • Managing vehicles and equipment
  • Ensuring IRI vehicles and equipment are in good condition and well-maintained

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related subject such as Administration / Law / Management / At least Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in the relevant studies
  • Good facilitation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of computer operation (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • At least one year of experience in the logistics
  • At least one year of experience in the community approach
  • Experience in writing reports is preferable
