Short-term Programmer

Palladium is appointed by USAID to manage USAID-funded Health technical Assistance Project (BANTU), to support USAID Indonesia’s Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) by rapidly leveraging specialized short and long-term technical assistance to USAID, USAID-funded programs; the Government of Indonesia (GOI), and other organizations and agencies as required.

We are currently seeking a short-term Programmer for the HIV, AIDS and STI Sub-directorate, P2PML Directorate of the Ministry of Health.

JOB SUMMARY:

The USAID/Indonesia HIV, AIDS and STI Sub-directorate, P2PML Directorate is looking for a Programmer to provide Create, implement, develop and develop web and android based front / back applications, Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient, Configure and maintain application security and Perform software quality assurance, Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes. The consultant provides support Designing, monitoring and maintaining database security (database tuning, back-up and data restore), Creating database visualization and integration. The consultant should provides Perform troubleshooting web and android based front / back end applications and provides assistance with software support and troubleshooting, Creating periodic documentation, Collaborate with internal teams for application development, and Conduct Training as directed by FloHead of Subdit HIV, AIDS and STI.

This short-term position is for an Indonesian (local hire) for period of 6 months with day-to-day technical guidance and leadership of the HIV, AIDS and STI Sub-directorate, P2PML Directorate of the Ministry of Health.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineer or relevant discipline (master’s degree is a priority); Minimum 2 years of experience working in in managing servers and computer networks; The programmer has Mastering Windows NT, Linux OS, MongoDB Database, PosgreSQL, MySQL and allied, Frameworks such as CakePHP, Laravel, Reac Native, the CakePHP web server or the like, API (Application Programming Interface), and the PHP programming language, NodeJS and allied.
