Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) is a Christian humanitarian social organization that works to bring a sustainable change to the welfare of children, families, and communities living in poverty. WVI dedicated itself to cooperate with the most vulnerable communities regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, and gender.
For more than 20 years, Wahana Visi Indonesia has been implementing community development programs focusing on children. WVI has emphasized long-termed development programs by using an approach of sustainable area program or Area Program for 10-15 years through the operational offices in WVI’s assisted area.
Wahana Visi Indonesia is currently seeking three positions for Program Organisasi Penggerak (POP) as: EDUCATION COORDINATOR
To improve and sustain the well-being of children and families by doing the planning, implementing, and monitoring the POP project in three Area Programs (i.e., Biak, Sentani, Jayawijaya) – these also apply to emergency contexts; To make sure the project meets the organization and donor standards; To advise the National Program Manager and the associated Area Program Managers about the opportunity and constraint in the education sector.
Biak, Sentani, and Jayawijaya in Papua (one position per each location).
- Bachelor’s degree with preferably in the education major.
- Have min. two years of experience in implementing education projects.
- Have strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English (450 of TOEFL score).
