Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) is a Christian humanitarian social organization that works to bring a sustainable change to the welfare of children, families, and communities living in poverty. WVI dedicated itself to cooperate with the most vulnerable communities regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, and gender.
More than 20 years, Wahana Visi Indonesia has been implementing community development programs focusing on children. WVI has emphasized long-termed development programs by using an approach of sustainable area program or Area Program for 10-15 years through the operational offices in WVI’s assisted area.
Wahana Visi Indonesia is currently seeking the following position in Sentani & Biak for POP (Program Organisasi Penggerak) that is:
The purpose of this job is to implement POP (Program Organisasi Penggerak) in society, develop the capacity of the society & partners, especially for KKG (Kelompok Kerja Guru – Teacher Working Group) & village leaders, facilitate & strengthen any implementation that is done by the society for improving and maintaining the well-being of children and their family.
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant major with a preferable major in education or social science.
- Three years of work experience or one year as a development facilitator.
- Have good interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Understand concepts of social development and mobilization.
- Able to operate computer and Internet.
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English (450 of TOEFL score).
The POP is a grant project that whose implementation depends on the grantor’s approvals.
